Open day and night until 1916, hence the nickname of "Caffè senza porte", it was a prestigious meeting point for intellectuals and, inside, a student revolt took place on February 8, 1848, which gave rise to the uprisings of the Italian Risorgimento.
These four cups date back to the late 1800s and bear the Richard Ginori brand on the bottom of the cup and on the saucer.
