Case in 925/000 silver and 18K gold signed André Col. Jeweler and goldsmith based in Paris, rue Victor Hugo in the 1930s, he created jewelry and accessories of high quality and originality whose notoriety would reach its peak in the 1950s and 1960s. He collaborated with artistic high society, fashion designers (Dior) and jewelers of Place Vendôme. His creations were particularly appreciated by actresses and actors of his time whom he was able to seduce by the diversity, modernism and excellence of his achievements.
Cylindrical case, mesh decoration forming finely striated articulated crests. The pellets at the ends as well as the double ring are in gold. Signed and numbered 73009, double eagle and boar head hallmark. Long. 6cm - Ø 2cm - Weight 39.8 gr. Superb condition.
