PIA KAETA knife
Ceylon, 18th century
Steel, marine ivory, brass
Total length : 34,5 - Blade length : 22,5 - Blade thickness at heel : 0,8cm


Steel blade, curved, single-edged, with gutters and brass inlays engraved with scrolls.
The heel is reinforced with a strong frieze-like grip.
The handle in marine ivory is finely carved with vegetal motifs at several degrees and punctuated with rivets. Fully engraved bolster.
