Pair of cane armchairs from the Louis XV period in carved beech. They are camped on front legs well carved with acanthus leaves, fretworked, molded and carved crosspieces. A flowery shell in the middle. Carved acanthus whiplash armrests. Back entirely carved with gadroons in wavelets and flowers at the top. The caning is in good condition. These armchairs are in very good house condition. Some restorations and old consolidations (reinforcement wooden brackets under the seat, a front foot seems to have been redone). Early Louis XV period, during the Regency transition, Louis XV, probably around 1730. Delivery on a pallet in a wooden crate by carrier, 280 euros in France, 600 euros in the EU and 1500 euros rest of the world.
