Large and magnificent 17th century oil on canvas attributed to Antonio GIANLISI, representing a large dish of grapes on an entablature covered with a splendid velvet carpet embroidered with gold. Antonio GIANGILI is an artist born in Piacenza in 1677 and died in Cremona in 1727. Known for his still lifes, his entablatures with embroidered carpets, grapes. Our work is very characteristic of this artist. He also painted trompe-l'œil. The painting has been re-canvased and very well restored in the past. Superb dimensions, 121 cm x 99 cm.
