Louis XVI Commode In Mahogany

Elegant Commode from the Louis XVI period in blond mahogany veneer with beautiful ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronze.

Central projection, front uprights with a cutaway adorned with rudent grooves, also projection on the rear uprights still decorated with rudent grooves, the whole finished with four sheathed feet presented in alignment with the uprights, which constitutes a rather rare assembly.

White veined Carrara marble top molded.

Refined work with lines and details in a very Parisian style, the inventory marks on the back accentuate the mystery of the origin and ancient provenance of this piece of furniture, which is undoubtedly prestigious.

Very good condition, after a visit to our workshop to restore it to its former glory with a magnificent french polish.
