Arthur Litt born in Mulhouse in 1905, he studied drawing at the school of the industrial society of Mulhouse.
In 1929 he set up a workshop in Paris which he operated until his death in 1961. He knew how to accumulate knowledge which enabled him to produce collections for textiles and wallpaper. These thirty years of creation constitute a veritable memory of fashion full of freedom in floral, exotic, geometric, abstract and surrealist interpretation.
Litt was a leading French textile and wallpaper designer.
