Painting in native wood marquetry, 19th century. Ancient and decorative work of European wooden marquetry representing a landscape in the spirit of the city of Venice. The many wooden elements that make up this decor are selected from woods such as ash, elm, sycamore, walnut... all these veneers are cut in very thick thickness, around 2 to 3 mm and are glued on a core in resinous. This 19th century work was possibly an old table top, transformed into a painting with a light blackened wooden framing strip flush with the decor. Waxed finish. Dimensions: Width: 88 cm Height: 56 cm
