"Architectural Drawing In Ink Wash Late 18th Century"
beautiful facade project in late 18th century ink wash. It is a large sheet, annotated "facade on the square", for a spectacular building, with official or technical functions. The architect used the neoclassical vocabulary, with monumental orders for the double pilasters as well as a frieze alternating triglyphs and bucranes, and a cornice surmounted by fire pots. the whole is enhanced with watercolour. we must note a pretty old baguette.
