Antique French Empire Clock In Finely Chiselled Gilt Bronze. Early 19th Century Period.

Empire clock in finely chiseled gilded bronze belonging to the early 19th century.

The vase shape is typical of the period it belongs to and has a large porcelain dial surrounded by elements in relief.

On the side it carries two handles depicting heads of mythological figures.

The base is quadrangular in front and rests on circular-shaped cushion feet.

The dial is porcelain and has Roman numerals with a signature "GOEMANS A ORLEANS" in the center.

General conditions: Complete with key and pendulum and mechanism to be overhauled.
