Rare and interesting wall coat of arms / sconce holder with the Arms of the Royal House of Savoy. Made as usual for this type of object in boiled cardboard and fine canvas on a wooden structure visible on the back, this spectacular coat of arms by its dimensions and its still very fresh colors was originally intended to decorate living rooms or the circulation of great Italian palaces while affirming its membership or its support for the Royal House of Savoy. It still has its old hanging system on the back and its original wrought iron sconce ring on the front. The removable wall lamp is made up of 3 golden sconces in iron and turned wood and is from the same period. . It is in good condition despite some old wear, scratches and retouching to the painting of the decor and some old reinforcements affixed to the reverse. Spectacular and very decorative object, rare to find in this condition and displaying such weapons.
