ground mirror, Italy second half of the 1800s
Small asymmetrical mirror,
decorated with scrolls and acanthus leaves.
The shape resembles that of a cornucopia,
symbol of prosperity fertility and abundance,
with the mirror bevelled to trace the internal profile of the frame.
On the back a ring hook to hang it on the wall.
Excellent state of conservation, does not require restoration.
The measurements indicated are the maximum external ones,
the mirror measures 45cm in height
and 39 cm is the width at the maximum point
