Bonheur du jour from the Transition period, opening on the front with a drawer and two doors and on the belt with a drawer revealing a leather-wrapped zipper. It rests on four arched legs joined by a tablet. Marquetry decoration on a tinted sycamore ground framed in rosewood. Ornamentation of chiseled bronzes and original mercury gilding. Stamped C TOPINO, received master in 1773
