Early 20th century France Curtain for door or window in cream cotton voile applied with hand-gouache and glued wallpaper. Lambrequin with three warhead crenellations, dotted with bouquets and flowers with paper pistils. Two adjoining slopes rounded on the top (rounded door) with two sprigs of laurels attesting to the festive or commemorative character of this unusual veiling. Perimeter of neo-classical blue friezes and gilded paper. A few creases in the paper, but no holes or stains. Very good condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: lambrequin, width 206 cm, height 91 cm. Slopes 70 cm wide by 236 cm high approximately.
