Circa 1938-1942 France Wedding dress with long train in champagne-coloured Duchess satin. Fluid cut with blouse-style bustier with turn-down collar, long sleeves with darts and double buttoning at the front and back. The back extends in a single piece of fabric in an imposing train with wide ruffles. Machine embroideries with cord filler form baroque arabesques, which start on each side of the hips to extend in a circle on the bottom of the train. Very nice stitching finishes, especially on the buttons. Dress without lining or label. It requires a wedding petticoat, which is not supplied.
