Mid-century French figurative cubist sculpture in red-brown stone, signed. The round-shaped object represents a figure like a sketch with one arm above the head and the other between the legs. The organic roundness of the object gives it a soft, almost cozy appearance, only a few lines mark the body. The stone itself has a beautiful, delicate and calm grain, which gives the object a very holistic look. The very decorative sculpture is hand signed, MZ 1981.
