Bronze animal sculpture signed Émile Laporte presenting a crowing rooster. Very beautiful bronze patina. Émile Laporte is a French sculptor and medalist from the second half of the 19th century. Pupil of Dumont, Barrias, Thomas and Bonnassieux at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, he exhibited his work at the Salon of French Artists from 1881 and won awards. This is a remarkable work of composition in the setting in motion of the rooster which can be viewed at 360 degrees.
