Rare very large format with beautiful autograph signed by Nadar

NADAR (Paul Tournachon, dit) - Photograph of a young child in a dress sitting on a harness.

Original photograph in an exceptionally large format (44 x 35 cm), on albumen paper with significant highlights of brown gouache in the hair, the dress, the shoes and in the decor, mounted on cardboard, blue paper glued to the back.

Print toned in sepia, gouache stains on the child's face, traces of old mounting on the back.

Autograph signed and dated by Nadar in red ink lower left: “To my dear and good friend Alfred Périn, Nadar, Paris 1877”. Nadar's famous signature is particularly graphic here.
