Small minor scratch on the top cover of the dust jacket, transfer of photo frames to the facing pages, very fine copy, very rare in this condition (the book is generally covered in foxing).

Very luxurious advertising album printed on very thick Arches vellum, presenting the Golf de Chiberta in Biarritz, the most beautiful in the Basque Country. Extraordinary Art Deco flyleaves and title pages printed in yellow, blue and palladium. The inserts and drawings were executed by Mstislav Doboujinski - here spelled Dobouzinski - (Jacket - flyleaves - title page - 2 colored inserts laminated, including one in the frontispiece - 2 "blazon" vignettes - 1 header - 3 initials - 2 small tailpieces in black). 20 photographs reproduced in bistre with rotogravure in a color frame.

Mstislav Valerianovitch Doboujinski, (Novgorod, 1875 - New York 1957), Russian-Lithuanian painter, known for his urban landscapes in which he depicts the explosive growth and decadence of the city at the beginning of the 20th century.
