Louis XIII Style Flat Desk With Drawbars, Twisted Feet, Solid Walnut And Leather Top

Imposing Louis XIII style desk in solid walnut. It rests on four columns in double twists, linked together by a molded spacer and ending in flattened ball feet. The front belt has three drawers each with a lock with key. On the sides of our desk, two zippers allow the enlargement of the work plan. The tray as well as the two pull tabs are entirely covered with a beautiful garnet-red leather, embellished on each perimeter with a large frieze decorated with scrolls and made in gold. Very nice craftsmanship from the middle of the 20th century of high quality (double twists...)
