"Large Octant In Ebony And Ivory - England - 1785"
Large marine octant measuring 46cm in height, built in ebony, ivory and brass and dated "1785". It bears the membership signature of "I. Bevens", unidentified. The instrument is complete with its original mirrors and sights. The solar filters are missing. Large and early navigational or marine instrument. Size: 46x37cm.
