Émile Pinedo (1840-1916) is a French artist who made his debut at the Paris Salon in 1870. Coming from a family of sculptors, his father was also an artist, they had an establishment in the Marais district of Paris. He became famous after the International Exposition in Chicago in 1893, where he exhibited works in patinated bronze. Emile produced many works during his successful career, mostly in the style of Academicism and Realism and Orientalism.
