"Pair Of Louis XVI Footstools"
Charming pair of Louis XVI period footrests in natural wood, covered with a beautiful fabric of the same style. The whole is pegged as it should be. We must note a repair from the past, on only one, of a crosspiece, with an old screw and skin glue, it is now part of the life of the object. The horsehair trimmings and the fabric are in perfect condition, they are very stable. They are representative of the notion of comfort which took hold in late 18th century interiors.
