"Pair Cassolettes Empire Vases Medici Bronze Torch Serpent Laurel Nineteenth"
Pair of decorative cassolettes in the shape of Medici vases, in bronze with two patinas (brown-green and gold), decorated with snakes wrapped around candlesticks on the base, cup decorated with a frieze of flowers and laurel leaves, bases of handles decorated with mascarons, from the 1st Empire period at the beginning of the 19th century. These cassolettes are in good condition and are of remarkable quality. A note: some accidents and losses on the laurel friezes (see red arrows), small hole on the top of the gadrooned part of a cup (hardly visible), some small scratches and wear of time, see photos.
