"Pair Of Nightstands After A Model From The Cabinetmaker Bvrb"
Lovely pair of bedside tables in rosewood marquetry, made and stamped by Francisque Chaleyssin (1872/1951), around 1930. These bedside tables are largely mounted on oak and have a frieze drawer. They are embellished with gilded bronzes such as falls, clogs and rushes. A similar model stamped BVRB was sold at Christies New York on April 30, 1999.
