"Pointe De Penvins, Morbihan, Seascape, Maritime Painting By Pierre Noailhac. Marine ."
Very nice painting representing the tip of Penvins in Morbihan. In the center of our beautiful landscape stands the chapel of Notre Dame de la côte with its architecture arranged in a Greek cross, allowing it to better resist the violent winds coming from the sea. The current building was rebuilt on the ruins of a chapel of the XVIIth century, thanks to a gift from Olivier de langlais and his wife Edwidge de Francheville in the year 1897. Our painting was produced by the painter Pierre Noailhac, figurative and self-taught artist of international renown. Born in 1940 in Chasteaux in Corrèze, he has been part of the group of painters from the Creuse valley since 1991, created on the initiative of his friend Gaston Thiery for the contemporary extension of the Crozant school. Our painting bears the artist's signature at the bottom of the canvas, it is sold in a very beautiful contemporary frame bearing a brass plate in the name of the painter; Dimensions: frame: height 83 cm // length 96 cm canvas: height 60 cm // length 73 cm Shipping costs contact us
