Le Faucheux pinfire revolver, 2nd Empire period, circa 1860-70, 19th century. Frame and barrel polished white. Caliber: 9 mm Round barrel with sight and rifled barrel interior. Right side extractor with nail head mounted in console housing, bearing punch of the crowned "V" controller. Smooth 6-shot cylinder with slight notch for the cartridge pin at each chamber. Barrel bearing hallmark "V" crowned with the controller and starry "ELG" in LIEGE oval. Chamber exit marking on the cylinder illegible. Relaxation under the trigger guard. Crested dog with rear sight and flat firing pin. Mechanism in perfect working order in single action and double action. Butt plates in ebony, with fixing by through screw and cap with ring of dragone. Length: 27 cm Barrel length: 15 cm Weight: 670 grs.
