Pair of rhyton vases in gilded bronze. These finely chiseled works feature on either side a ram's head decorated with an acanthus leaf and an elephant's head. The upper part, in perforated brass, encases a pink glass. The whole rests on a pedestal with stylized floral decorations. These rython vases will appeal for their originality and the finesse of their manufacture ******** Period: 1st part of the 19th century. Excellent condition.
