Rare pair of silver candlesticks, model with sides and octagonal base, the bowl engraved with the count's coat of arms, by master goldsmith François Becane, Toulouse 1717. François Becane was received as master goldsmith in Toulouse on December 18, 1678. He was kept in custody in 1679 and 1685. Weight of the two 927g, or 461g and 465g each. State, good, traces of use, the candlesticks are well hallmarked. They escaped the melting. Nice arms. Rare.
