"Mash Apothecary Corks"
Very nice functional pharmacy object used to reduce and chew cork stoppers for closing glass medicine vials. Invented in 1830 and functional until the beginning of the century. Caduceus serpent decor. In very good shape ! Original paint and rather heavy cast iron of very good manufacturing quality! Monogrammed under the base. Length of 25 cm by 15 cm in width. Height 9cm. Very beautiful object, decorative! Notice to collectors and other lovers of pharmaceutical antiques!
