Japan, Meiji period (1868 - 1912)
Glazed stoneware
H. 13,5 ; L. 10,5 ; Thickness: 10 cm
(signed on the base)


Statuette of Daruma in polychrome enamelled stoneware presented squatting. He wears a long tunic or coat enamelled in shades of blue which covers his head and hands. One foot protrudes from his garment and is left unfinished - as is his face.

Very good condition.
