Large Cup With Bronze Mount In Canton Porcelain Late XIX Eme Century

Important Canton porcelain goblet of the rose family decorated with courtesans in palace interiors, birds and peonies, in cartouches, all set in a decor of floral scrolls, butterflies, flowers and birds .
the enamels are magnificent and of great color intensity.
the cup is adorned with a superb Louis XVI style bronze mount decorated with a row of pearls enclosing the cup, and leafy grips meeting on a Louis XVI style bronze base worked with floral motifs and garlands of laurel.
the bronze frame is in excellent condition as well as the porcelain.
the assembly is from the Napoleon III period.
this type of porcelain was mainly shipped from china in the 19th century for export.
