Willy Hamacher (1865-1909) : “La Riviera”, very large photoengraving on thin vellum fixed on strong vellum, published by Kunstverlag Stiefbold and co Berlin (dry stamp lower left) 58 X 76 cm to the image, 67 X 82 cm when crushed, 82 X 97 cm when leafed. Uniformly photo-oxidized proof, some waterstains and foxing in the margin. Famous German painter of seascapes and landscapes, he gave us during his brief career many views of the Italian coast which were declined in engravings as here by this Berlin publisher.
