Large quilted blanket from the 18th century Norman manufacture, it seems Used condition here and there, otherwise good general condition for its age. Print on a madder background, exotic characters on a boat (drakkar) The other side is a reserve print on an indigo background, with two other fabrics: an unworthy striped canvas and a piece identical to the pattern on the other side Old collection by Mr Cabanel, a reference in the world of textile collections, then by Ms Catherine Legrand, a collector in particular of indigo and at the origin of numerous exhibitions on indigo as well as a reference book on this subject.
