Large oil on canvas representing a lady of the nobility in chamber dress being served a cup of chocolate by a nubian servant in livery and turban, holding a silver plate on which rests sugar and spoon. In the background a companion comes to hand a letter to the lady.
Certainly dating from the end of the 17th century, this painting has been re-covered and has undergone restorations dating from the end of the 19th century or even the beginning of the 20th century, its frame, measuring 158cm by 136cm, was also formerly restored.
