""the Flute Player" Lamp, After Auguste Moreau - Early 20th Century"
Charming spelter lamp with bronze patina representing a young dancing musician, crowned with a singularly shaped lampshade decorated with garlands of pearls. Inspired by the work of Auguste Moreau (1834-1917) this lamp is distinguished by its romantic approach. A joyful child, lightly dressed and with a moving body, holds a flute in her right hand. At his feet, a tambourine rests, surrounded by a bed of foliage and flowers. A rosebush rises to the sky accentuating the realism of the scene. An endearing work that forms a refined and original lamp.
