Particular empire period travel dressing table with stylistic elements still from the eighteenth century. French/Belgian manufacture, mahogany feather veneer. Inside compartment equipped with basin and pouring bowl in silver-plated metal with "Bartholomè Bruxelles" stamp, 2 crystal bottles for perfumes and 2 crystal glasses. In the upper part of the lid there is an elaborate movable and adjustable mirror. On the front two drawers enriched with gilded bronze finishes. The last drawer at the bottom houses a mobile drawer with a silver metal bidet. The dressing table is equipped with eight needle feet with bronze shoes and wheels. Slight defects and shortcomings
