"Barbed Palanquin In Teak, China - Late Nineteenth"
Palanquin with bars in the middle, in teak, painted in oxblood red colours. This bench is sculpted with numerous golden decorations of flowers, scrolls, scrolls, birds, butterflies, swans, elephants and exotic animals. It has small barriers with turned bars and columns attached in a jump topped with tops, on the sides, the back and the returns. The very complex base includes a base, slightly convex, attached by thirty elements of curved wood in the architectural spirit of a ship's frame. This Palanquin, which will make a very original bench for cabinetmaking, will easily find its place and its usefulness in a living room, bedroom or office, for example.
