Jean Pons 1913/2005. renowned lithographer; he was also a painter of expressionist and fauvist talent in his early days, the artist produces portraits, landscapes. At the end of the 1950s, influenced by the new figuration, the artist made the figure appear again, treated with violent chromaticism. Unusual artistic path given by color to the image of Matisse or Van Gogh artists he admired. Signature lower left.
