"Earrings, In Gold, Around 1830."
These exceptional earrings consist of two articulated gold elements. They are richly decorated with flowers in high relief and chiselled with foliage motifs. The perimeter is lined with a small sinuous molding and half finials. The punch with which they are struck is a ram's head, in force from 1819 to 1839, they are characteristic of the 1830s. The screw fastening system, decorated with a flower, is in silver, it does not require have their ears pierced. Large in size, these jewels measure 6.6 cm and weigh 11.2 grams.
