Circa 1750 Europe A large lampas panel with cherry satin edging, probably from a prestigious order for a European chateau. Two complete lengths of their selvedges in 58 cm wide totaling 5 meters of lampas dating from the Louis XV period. Large sequenced decoration with a tree of life and large bouquets of flowers in silver cream and celadon green grisaille design. Unidentified factory but lampas with very good weaving quality. No defect. Exceptional state of conservation. Dimensions: 258 cm high by 118 cm wide in two sewn strips.
