"Orangeade Service 1 Tray And 7 Glasses In Moorish Glass Paste Mandelieu La Napoule"
Glass paste orangeade service comprising 7 glasses: 1 blue, 2 green, 1 red, 3 beige and a beige tray in the shape of a painter's palette. They are all signed with the letters MV intertwined below. They come from the Maure-Vieil workshop in Mandelieu la Napoule (Alpes-Maritimes). This glassworks was built in 1960. The production of the "verriers de Maure-Vieil" is concentrated mainly on glass paste. It closed in the 90s. Note: one of the beige glasses has a crack, at the base, in the internal layer; tested, filled with liquid, no leaks to be noted.
