Our Virgin here expresses all her femininity by being posed on a crescent moon.
Wearing a silver crown, she indicates that she is queen of heaven and earth. In carved wood in the round, this piece is beautifully polychromed. The crown, the aureole and its twelve stars are in silver.
The set is placed on a rectangular base decorated with foliage.
