"Wax Case, Silver, Paris, 1749"
Silver wax case with four oval sides, the body engraved with fleurons, it opens in two parts by casing, Paris 1749-1750. It is punched on the body, trace of the goldsmith's punch partly legible, different P a wheel. The seal part is not engraved. Weight 26g. Condition, good, small bumps and traces of use.
