Exceptional Antique Louis XVI style Liquor / Alcohol Caddy in Sterling Silver and Crystal circa 1900 period. The caddy houses 3 crystal carafes with upper parts engraved with leafy branches, fruit and grapevine clusters. They are also respectively engraved with different alcohols : Cognac, Kirsch, and Rum. Caddy is raised on three feet, and features openwork decoration of arcades, a border of water leaves, and the interior in Vermeil (gold on silver). The set is remarkably hallmarked (caddy, carafe mounts and stoppers) with the Minerve 1st Standard marks (.950), and mark for Master Goldsmith Jules MARIE (hallmark with the initials "JM" and a lighthouse) active in 1899. This beautiful Liquor / Alcohol caddy is in very good general condition with only light signs of use to note. Please disregard reflections in the photos.Overall Height : 22 cm
