Imposing Louis XVI style clock from the Napoleon III period, signed Denière in Paris. Very pretty decoration of knotted mistletoe garlands, resting on leafy scrolls. The cherry red marble base with plant decoration in gilded bronze. The enamelled dial and the movement signed Jean François DENIÈRE, bronze manufacturer in Paris. To be revised Louis XVI style, Napoleon III period. A similar model is on display in Napoleon III's study at the Château de Fontainebleau. Dimensions: Width: 37 cm. Height: 48cm. Depth: 18cm.
