Northern Italy, 17th century
Measures 190x130x46.5 cm
Walnut structure made with very thick boards (6.5/8 cm) covered with iron sheets blocked by a dense and architecturally ordered series of quadrilobate head nails that give the safe a truly unique aesthetic/scenic impact.
Each door is supported by a pair of elegant large lanceolate irons, and made extremely secure by the presence of a rostrum placed in the middle part of the same which anchors the door next to the safe when it is closed.
Security is also guaranteed by the presence of three locks of great beauty accompanied by the three original keys.
The safe, in excellent condition, was placed on an iron structure and lifted off the ground by fastening two simple 6 cm high wooden feet.
This, in addition to protecting it, facilitates its positioning and movement.
The object is provided with the certificate of free circulation, issued by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, which certifies its age and gives the object the possibility of being exported.
The work, like all our other objects, will be sold accompanied by certificates of authenticity and lawful origin.
