Iron tsuba / katana hilt Japan Edo period. Double-sided decoration: A man with a broom, surrounded by vegetation of cherry blossoms and water lilies, hunts a snail for the many virtues of its slime. On the reverse two rocks crossed by a silver stream. Decoration inlaid in Takazogan, four colors for the realization of this superb object.
