pair Louis XV armchairs around 1750 Stamped LEDUC h. 92.5 cm, br. 56 cm, p. 48 cm Pierre Leduc (circa 1685 - June 25, 1765) Paris, rue de Cléry, in "la Providence", which was devoted to the production of luxury seats. see Pierre Kjellberg, Le Mobilier français du XVIIIe siècle, 1989, p. 449 This elegant pair of large Louis XV period queen chairs, stamped "LEDUC", have a cream-coloured upholstery with damask silk on a gray background with a slight silver sheen, delicately lined with a beige gradient, of old rose and gold, underlined by a thin burgundy red stripe.
