Susanne Ricard Cordingley, nee Giraud-Teulon.
A delicate watercolor on cardboard, signed SR lower right.
Painted in the first half of the 20th century by the female painter, wife of the English naval painter Georges Ricard-Cordingley (1873-1939), he executed numerous seascapes for Queen Victoria and the English nobility. The couple married in 1911, so the painting was certainly executed after the artist gave her husband's surname.
On the back of the card is a label from the London fine art shop.
